Senior Minister the Honourable Kerrie Symmonds

Mr. Kerrie Symmonds, an Attorney-at-Law by profession, has served in Barbados’ Legislature for over twenty-one years, holding positions in both legislative houses. He was a Cabinet Minister between 2003 and 2008, serving as Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.  From 2013 to 2015 he served as Leader of Opposition Business in the Parliament.  Since May 2018 he has held multiple key portfolios, including Minister of Tourism and International Transport and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.  Presently, Mr. Symmonds serves as Senior Minister coordinating the Productive Sector and Minister of Energy, Business Development and Consumer Affairs.
