Interested parties are formally invited to submit requests to visit the physical Data Room at the Ministry of Energy, Business Development and Consumer Affairs (the Ministry) to view the available seismic and Geological and Geophysical (G&G) data.
The Data Room will be open from June 1, 2026 until September 1, 2026.
Access to the Data Room will be provided to those parties that have purchased the Barbados 2026 Offshore Data Package or satisfied the minimum data purchase requirement from the approved Multi-Client vendors.
The approved Multi-Client vendors are listed below as follows:
Please be advised that various vintages of seismic and G&G data are available for viewing in the Data Room, both in hard copy and electronic format. Seismic data can be viewed on the Ministry’s seismic workstation, which is equipped with the Kingdom 2026 Seismic Interpretation Software. Paper copies of older vintages of seismic data, offshore G&G data and well reports are also available.
Select datasets are available for viewing or licensing as follows:
- Conoco 1999 and 2000 2D Seismic Data (Available for viewing and licensing)
- Over 11,000 km of 2D seismic data are available for viewing in the Data Room and can be licensed at a cost of US $80 per line km, with a 10% discount applied to purchases greater than 5,500 km and a 20% discount applied to purchases exceeding 7,800 km.
- Vintage 2D Seismic Data (Available for viewing only)
- Over 25,000 km of vintage 2D seismic data are available for viewing in hard copy.
- Conoco 2000 3D Seismic Data (Available for viewing and licensing)
- 500 km2 of 3D seismic data are available for viewing in the Data Room and can be licensed at a cost of US $1 million for the entire dataset.

Visits to the Data Room are subject to the following terms and conditions:
- Data Room visits may be scheduled for a maximum period of two (2) days. Should additional time be required, companies may submit a request for an additional one (1) day extension.
- The names of the visiting company representatives must be provided along with the formal request.
- The use of electronic devices, including laptops, cell phones, tablets, cameras, flash drives, external hard drives and other types of storage and recording media is strictly prohibited in the Data Room.
- A reasonable number of screen captures will be allowed but each screen capture must be reviewed and approved by the Ministry.
- Access to the Data Room and the licensing of the available data will be subject to the signing of a Confidentiality Agreement, which will be provided to interested parties for review and execution in advance of the visit.
